Spring 2018

This year Ashley and I signed up for the Windermere half marathon.  We had walked together for a few years now and wanted to step up our game a little bit and give ourselves a challenge.  The training was fun and easier than i thought it would be.  We had pretty good weather and I ran at the YMCA when we didn't.

This was also the year we had friends join a curling league.  It was so fun to go watch them play on the weekends.  I knew nothing about  the game up until this point so learning was fun and cheering them on was a blast!!

Baseball was in fu;; force at this point and we signed up for a few tournaments this year.  Gavin is loving pitching and playing 3rd base.  He moves around where they need him and is a good little ball player.

They came in 2nd at the Cinco de mayo tournament and were so bummed but played so hard and it was HOT!!

Paige's friends and their mom's all had a date to the park and lunch.  We usually do McDonald's so this was a very nice change of pace!

Maggie, Paige, Jackson and Crosby

And my sweet mom friends Marianne, Amber and Taraka

And then we celebrated friend birthdays.  Belinda, Ashley, Lisa, Daisy and Steph.

Gavin turned 9.

His birthday was on  a game day so of course we do cupcakes!

And pizza with the family.

Gavin is such a sweet boy who won't go one day without hugging me even if he's mad.  He is so willing do favors for people, loves to help and be around the adults.  He is busy and playful and has the biggest heart.  He can get really upset with himself and frustrated when he doesn't understand things.  It's been fun to see how different a boy is growing up after doing it with two girls.

Solar Energy performed at Silverwood  so we got to play for the day after he was done.

Finally race day!!

We did it!!!!  It was hard and I wish I would have taken the training a little more seriously but the time with Ashley was fun and it was worth it to cross that off my list and probably never to be done again. ;)

Jen, Aaron,  Jackson, and Anson came for Memorial weekend, we had a great time.  She is always good about visiting us and face timing with Anson.  He is such a cutie and so darn smart!!

Paige is a little mommy.

Visiting the Ellersick graveside.

Fun in Coeur d'alene

Someone lost her first tooth!! ❤
