Fun times

Grace had a special invite last weekend from her best friend Maddy to get a private horse riding lesson together. :) Grace was beyond herself when she found out and I was super excited too but because Haylee would not be participating we had to keep the excitement to a minimum.

The night before we got invited over to celebrate Maddy's birthday. While the kids were all playing nicely in the bedroom the adults broke out the:
Seriously???? You should have seen them all reminiscing about the "days of 80's music".....sorry folks but I still don't get it. Guess this is one of those times I get to say to everyone "I must be too YOUNG" ;) he he he

Justin even took it upon himself to try and replace their old thermostat that is not working properly though he could not get the new one to work either. Looks like he knows what he's doing though.

Gavin loves Hannah, the lady that has a whistle on her key chain and cheetos on her counter. :)

Next morning we were off for lessons. The two cowgirls were ready to ride.

Grace's was a white Arabian Mare named Dixie.

Maddie had a Bay colored Arabian named Czar.

No lead ropes, they just said "follow me".

They learned to stop, go, turn, turn full circle, trot, and weave in and out of objects.

They both were naturals and were not even nervous.

They are already asking for more lessons.

We went out to lunch to celebrate no broken limbs, and did a little shopping while the guys were back at home watching football.
