Bring on Summer!!!

I took Haylee and Paige with me to Boise for my Dad's 80th birthday.  Justin stayed home to work and stay with Gavin and Grace who still had school and baseball.  My sister Sarah was coming with her daughter Naomi so the girls were getting some time to hang out.  She and Haylee are the same age.

Gavin had his 5th grade end of year field trip to the park.  Crazy he'll be heading into middle school!😱

He's had some great years at Sunrise and we have liked (almost) all of his teachers.  He has some good friends and groups of kids that he hangs with.

Class of 2026 baby!!

Paige had her end of year school play and graduation.  So cute!!!  She had our friends daughter  Mrs.Kinnune for her kindergarten year, she was so happy to have her for a teacher and it was a great year!!

End of school fun!  I volunteered for the field day to see all the kids we had so much fun!

First and last day of school comparisons.

All the neighborhood kids together!!

Summer means the start of our hiking adventures.  This was the back side of the Rocks of Sharon in the valley.  We had a good hike and got a little weather but overall not too many whines or complaints were made, we had fun!

We celebrated Grace turning 17 with a surprise nose piercing!!  We lured her to the mall and took her to silver safari and she did it right then and there.  It looks so cute on her!

17 just seems so old and she is so responsible and busy with everything that it makes her seem older than 17!!  She is working at Long Horn BBQ and going to school full time at Eastern for her senior year so she'll graduate next year with her associates degree.  She has worked so hard and deserves all of the amazing things she has worked for!  Loving, thoughtful, loyal, dependable, honest and so much fun are just a few reasons I adore this girl!!

For her party she wanted to get friends to come play a game of wiffle ball at the park then back to our house for a bbq.  We had so much fun!!!  Everyone was saying we should make it a regular thing.

Went with the gals to Arbor Crest

More hiking.  This was the Liberty Lake trail.

Baby

Paige and her lazy morning play time in her panties playing with all her toys!!  My favorite thing about summer!

4th of July parade in liberty lake was fun.  They decorate golf carts and throw tons of candy!

Justin took Gavin to Kalispel for a baseball tournament.  This story never gets old but pretty sure Gavin will forever have PTSD from it. They thought they had made a reservation for a hotel on Hotels.com.  They arrive there and no reservation to be found,  It's 4th of July and crazy busy everywhere so Justin calls the number he finds for hotels.com website and gets some man speaking in a thick middle eastern accent who is telling him he needs to go to Walgreens and buy some Google play gift cards to get a rebate for a hotel room.  It didn't work the first couple times and the man told him to try again meanwhile I'm with Paige at the pool in Spokane getting fraud alerts on our card and trying to call Justin to see what's happening.  He is panicking and beginning to realize this is probably a scam and I told him he needs to stop and we need to call the bank.  I figure out the card situation and he proceeds to try to find a hotel room.  The lady at the hotel where they thought they were staying is helping them out and says the only room left in town she really wouldn't recommend but knew they were desperate!😳

So this lovely I'm sure pay by the hour motel is where they stayed and I'm horrified that they actually did it.  I am so thankful I was not there because I would have been sleeping  in the truck!!  Gavin was scarred for life!!  But it's a great story now that we can laugh about it. 😂😂

Camping with the Olson's was fun but we got more rain then we've ever had before.   It changed plans a little bit and we ended up going to Hill's resort several times for food and just to get a break from sitting under tarps at the camp site.  Nice to have RV's when it comes to these situations.

We finally got a nice day and had fun at the beach.

The ladies went to the laundry mat to dry out everyone's stuff and sat next door for wine and live music.  My kids of camping! 😎

Our last day was also beautiful so after we packed up camp we headed to Hill's again for their festival they were having and sat on the patio and let the kids play and swim it was so nice!

Collville wood bat tournament for Gavin was fun too.  We ended up camping at a resort about 30 minutes out of town but the kids were able to play and swim for the weekend so it made it really fun!

Haylee took a trip to Boise with Grandma and Miley to spend some cousin time.  They had fun together and it's these times I feel like they remember the most because it's not as crazy with everyone there.

Date night

Our neighbor girl down the street Regan had a birthday party.  The girls are sweet to include Paige even being so young and Paige always loves that they do!

Belinda, Ashley, Stephanie and I took our annual trip to Seattle for the Mariner game.  We had a ton of fun per usual!

Rode the carousel after the game at night it was so pretty!

Paul and Whitney came to visit us!  The kids had so much fun together!!  Quinn is so cute it was fun to spend time getting to see her and Zoey's personalities come out!

Gavin's first youth camp!!  He was so excited and I am thankful Haylee was there for him.

Meanwhile Paige and I spent a little one on one time and did some back to school shopping.

Justin and I had a weekend getaway to Kellogg, Id for the brewfest up on Silver Mountain.  We had a lot of fun!!

Justin got his tattoo redone.  He hasn't been very happy with how the first one turned out years ago and he decided to cover this one up and start with the original design on his other arm.

old.......

Midway done........

Next step and one more to go!
