Bonnie came to visit for Thanksgiving this year, shes been taking turns between kids and holidays. It's nice when family comes to see us here because i feel like it's better quality time verses going to Boise where we are pulled in a million directions and never feel like there's enough time. It was pretty low key and relaxing.
Neighbors came for the usual mimosa and bloody mary bar we do every year then they headed off to the in-laws.
We saw a movie!
Took grandma to see the lights at the resort and went in for gooey's!
Fed the troops! It's always fun to do these activities with all of the kids and now boyfriends. :)
After Bonnie headed back home we took the kids to the woods to cut down our Christmas tree. Teenagers were out in full "I hate my life" fashion and made it comical to say the least. haha To top it off the snow made it hard to find a decent one and it was probably the worst tree we've had so far!!
But they dressed it up and we made the best of it!! These are the stories we can share and laugh about forever!
Next up was Paige's 6th birthday!! She is such a love and has the best personality and sense of humor. She keeps all of us laughing and her love language is all the gifts!! ;)
We had a few other fun things this month, a concert being one.
Gingerbread houses
Playdates with this group of cuties. All the moms are mormon but me so Justin's always refers to them as the mormon mafia. hahaha We always meet at the liberty lake Mcdonalds so I say the Mcmama's but either way this group of ladies are so fun and it's all our last baby, all the same age so it's nice to have a group of friends all going through a lot of the same stages of life.
Th women's Christmas event at the church.
Christmas eve pj's after the Christmas eve service.
Santa works her magic ;)
Grace had this made for me and i LOOVE it!!! Our wedding date at the top then all of their birthdays underneath, so thoughtful!
We surprised Haylee with Thomas Rhett tickets for her big gift and that would get to be her and Marek's first real date just the two of them because she's still 15. She cried it was very sweet!!
Grace got a new stereo for her car so she could connect her phone that was a fun thing!
The weekend after Christmas we met Justin's whole family down in Kennewick at his uncles house so we could get the cousins all together for a while. As they get older that gets harder.
New years eve was back at our house and very low key and boring which we're deciding is how we like it. haha
The rest of the break we just hung around home.
We drove out to try and catch a look at the Eagles over lake Coeur d'alene but didn't see much.
Kids did some sledding and playing in the snow! Always nice to have snow on winter break!
This is my word for the year! Hopefully I can work on this one! :) Bring on the new year!!
