Mom's 70th surprise birthay weekend.

My Mom turned 70 this year and she is such an amazing woman we wanted to surprise her with something exciting.  So we planned a weekend getaway with all her daughters (and Paige) in a beautiful cabin up on Mt Spokane.  She thought she was coming for my kids dedication at church not realizing we had already done that. When she arrived we were all standing there to greet her ready to whisk her away for a weekend of fun. :)

This is where we stayed for 3 glorious nights and it was wonderful.  The weather not so much but we had a roaring fire most of the time anyway so the weather inside was cozy while we watched all the storms brewing outside.

Looking from the living room to the front door. It felt very homey and inviting, the ceilings were very tall and windows all along the sides and back showed the amazing views.

This little doll got to make the trip and she was loving all the Nana, Aunty time she got. ;)

We did a TON of this:

Mom had to prove she could still keep up so after a few of these.......

We found her up there.......

Okay okay I'm totally kidding but we had to get it for blackmail at least. ;)

The other kids stayed with Justin and made a quick appearance on Saturday to let Nana love on the kids and look around the place.  They were all bummed they couldn't stay after they saw all the fun places to sleep and the horses roaming out front but it was LADIES (plus Paige) only this weekend.

They got their snuggles in and said goodbye. Sweet Naomi and Paige
These two girls had the best time together and Haylee still talks about all the funny stuff they did.  I get really sad that we have to go so long between visits.

We thought it would be fun to hire a photographer to come out to the cabin and take some pictures of us in all our cackling glory. :)  It was cold outside but we had a blast anyway and have some great memories captured on film.

We could not stop laughing about such silly things and he would wait for us to not laugh so our eyes would actually be open then we would laugh harder......we are LOUD too.

Had to capture the better side right? ;)

The sisters.....I love them all so much.

SO MUCH LAUGHING!!!

My sweet hubby who allowed me to do this weekend almost kid free.

We laughed (a lot), we cried (a lot), we talked and talked and ate and ate.......it was a wonderful, much needed time for all of us.  We will forever be grateful for this time together and the wonderful memories made.  Happy birthday Mom, I love you!
