Could we really be almost done with April already??? Holy cow!! This year is seeming to fly by and I'm not sure where it's gone. This little boy is still just bringing us so much joy it's impossible to put in to words....he is in love with his sisters and they have the sweetest relationships, both very different from the other. Haylee (la la as he calls her) is his "go to" girl, he wants her all the time and is so excited to pick her up from the bus every day at 12:30, he knows the routine now. The minute I say it's time to get out of the bath (yes we're bathing at noon) he gets all excited and says "bye, bye, la, la, bus!" :) Grace on the other hand is good with more grown up things like stories and getting him dressed, he listens to her and lets her be his little mommy.

He is still keeping us on our toes however and never slows down except for when he's sleeping and I wonder how those Moms who don't do naps ever get anything done? This is what I walk in to most days. Cereal anyone?

The girls never really have a dull moment either, they are always creating something!

They laugh and laugh, playing for hours......I love it!

Farmers market time again.......

We took the kids to the Mt Vernon street fair for some good music, good food, and great people watching.....a perfect day for us.

Grandpa Forrey made a visit for a few days and sadly the girls took the only picture of that.....he and Gavin having some sort of serious discussion. :)

While we visited though I did manage to get some strawberry jam......

and strawberry fruit leather made. :) Justin thinks this looks like a crime scene photo but man it sure tasted good!

We had a very nice Easter weekend with the kids doing the usual.......

eggs
Gavin was quite the little painter.
then he had to clean them and do it all again......

two eggs lasted him longer that the other kids' 12 did. ;)

Little Haylee......always the last one to get her projects done....the last one to eat....she is such a careful, delicate crafter and likes to get things just right. She waited for them all to dry so she could go back and check them and put stickers on them......everyone else was long gone!!!

Easter was exciting having another little one to enjoy it this year, odd though to have to shop for a boys easter basket...i'm still learning.

He LOVES this underwear and however he can wear it he will.......why are these pictures a recurring theme with this boy????
candy, candy, give me candy!!!!

So we had to test out the kites they got in their baskets but then I forgot to get pictures. Gavin likes to just let it go and make Daddy chase it......always on the times my camera is put away!

We went over to the Ellis house for Easter brunch that they were so sweet to invite us to. :) We did hunts with the kids (they have perfect property for hiding) and had yummy food....it felt like we were with family for the holiday it was very nice.

Silly string fights.

Our sweet hosts, Hannah and Tracy.
A happy junk food filled boy!

Maybe by the end of summer I'll think of something else to post about.....I don't know what my problem is but it's been hard to get this done. Sorry for being so spazzy, i'll try and be better about it. Hope this Spring is finding you all well. :)
