We had planned to try and go camping for the 4th of July but the place we go is first come first serve and by the time we got there Friday morning it was already packed. We hung out in the little town of Davenport and had lunch while we waited for the Bendele family to get out to the lake. The weekend ended up just being day trips and other fun things.

4th of July spent on our own street bbq'ing with the neighbors. Safe and easy.
Justin and I celebrated our anniversary rooftop style at the Grand hotel. It's beautiful up there.
Another fun adventure was finding about 8 kitties under our compost bin. The mom took off so we scooped them all out and took them to the pound. We are not huge fans of cats but these little guys were pretty adorable and Paige wanted one SOOOOO bad!!!
