End of the year

This is from one of my Sunday runs along the river trail and it was so beautiful I had to stop and take some pics that don't even begin to capture what it really looks like.  I have started a Sunday walk/run tradition now that has taken me on many different parts of the valley and every one has left me in awe of the beauty of Spokane and our earth in general.  To think of Gods perfect timing in every part of nature (everything) is amazing!!

This girl loves to swing!! No baby swings required either she just got used to holding on and the higher the better.  Must be the 4th kid they just have to go with it. ;)

Big brother has taught her not to be afraid to get your hands dirty and just play!

Big milestone here.....first pony tail!!!  SO cute!! The rest is a bit stringy and when it's down it looks like a baby mullet but this was pretty darn cute.

Spring arrived and so did softball.....Grace played her first season and LOVED it!!  Justin was assistant coach so it was fun to see them bonding over this together.  The team was a good first year team for her.  She will play up to 14U next Spring so playing with all the other 11 and 12 year olds was good for her to start with.

She had a very sweet team and all the girls were dedicated.

She was a natural but still needs to get some confidence in some of her positions.  She really could pitch or play first base but she wants to stay comfortable in the outfield instead. ugh!!  Maybe next year???

Gavin had his end of the year performance for kindergarten.  It is always a bitter sweet moment for me when they sing all the cute farewell songs and talk about being big kids now. :(
He had a wonderful teacher and a very sweet class.  It was a perfect first year for him and I love that Sunrise still does just half day kindergarten.  He is still quite the home body/mama's boy so being gone all day would have been hard for both of us. ;)

Getting his award from his teacher Mrs.Termath

Ella and Gavin.  Double trouble. :)
Best friends and neighbors!

A random pic of Haylee and some of her besties at the end of the year.  She has the most incredible group of kids in her grade level.  I don't worry about her social life at all!!!  The one in the middle we call her twin BFF, they look so much alike it's scary.  Cute girls!
