Braces!!!

We have a child in braces!!!!  Doesn't even seem real.  I never had the privilege neither did Justin so we are very new to this concept and learning a lot as we go.

For starters it's crazy how fast they are already changing her smile and bite.  She got them on in February and they already seem so straight!

 We went with Damon Orthodontist and are happy we did. (so far)  They didn't have to do the palate expanding device which sounded awful so she was thrilled with that idea. The brackets are smaller which is nice and she only has to go in every 10 weeks so lots of pluses so far.

No pain really either except minor discomfort here and there so that's been nice.  She has food restrictions and that had probably been the hardest part so far. Pop corn was her favorite after school snack so that has been a little sad for her. ;)  We are so glad we made the decision to get them on and we know it's something she will always be thankful for.  18 months will fly by i'm sure. ;)
