Middle school shmiddle school.......

THE PRESIDENT'S EDUCATION AWARDS PROGRAM
RECOGNIZING STUDENT ACHIEVMENT AND HARD WORK SINCE 1983

Founded in 1983, the President's Education Awards Program (PEAP) honors graduating elementary, middle and high school students for their achievement and hard work. The program has provided individual recognition from the President and the U.S. Secretary of Education to those students whose outstanding efforts have enabled them to meet challenging standards of excellence. Each year, thousands of elementary, middle, and high schools participate by recognizing deserving students.

Grace was awarded with this at the end of this school year and though we had to research to find out what it even was about we are still so very proud of her and all the hard work she has put in throughout elementary school.  Sad that she had to miss her last year at Geneva but this past year and the school have been amazing!  She made some great friends and had an excellent teacher who just loved our Grace and appreciated her for who she is which  I think is rare these days.  She lives just a few houses down from us too so maybe she'll help out when we need some tutoring? ;)  So I guess it's on to bigger and scarier middle school"ish" things and you can bet we will enjoy every minute of the summer break before that big bad world begins. :)  Proud of you Gracie girl we love you so much!
