Christmas post coming a little late this year but had to get it up so I can have it on record that with the flood and all we DID in fact manage to still get all the usual festivities in. The Stoddards did the "cut the tree" thing with us again this year....working on year 4 I think???? They even had a fun inside spot where we could warm our bones and eat some tasty treats. :)

Sweet friends Grace and Brayden

Watching the train, he LOVED it!

family photo 2010

He liked the ones that were just his size. ;)

Nicole and Ben, his first year with the saw!!!!

Brayden and Nicole, cute!

Stoddard family 2010.....and they'll have twins added for next years photo-op. ;)

Got the tree home and decorated. Gavin was fascinated by the nativity collection we have going could have cared less about the tree, just give him a donkey and a baby Jethuth (as Gavin would say it). ;)

THEN.......we had the flood and everything pretty we had going for us went to pot! But we kept our sense of humor.................

even while living like this, all your personal belongings in plastic.

We got shoved to one side of the house and this is where we lived for two weeks, just me and the little man.

Some "non" disastrous things have happened these last couple months too, we've been enjoying lots of basketball. Grace played again this year for the B&G club and that was so fun. She also got called to be a ball girl for the women's team at Western, "go Vikings!".

So this is what it takes for the girl to clean huh????

Haylee got to get in on the fun too and get all the girls autographs.

Justin and Grace have had some really fun daddy/daughter time going to the games together and it's been fun to watch them knowing they have that in common. She claims she will play through college, big jump from where we are now that's for sure. ;) Practice, practice!

One of her games was about 45 min drive out toward Mt Baker so we took the opportunity with some friends and found the snow. Kids had more than they knew what to do with and had a ball!

This face is after multiple (and on purpose) face plants in the snow........can't keep up with this one.

Ellis family

We just look like colorful snowmen.

Next up......Boise!

I just read about the flood. Oh my goodness, bless your hearts. Seriously awful. But it sounds like you were able to still have some holiday fun. We are planning our trip out there for the end of June. :)
