I don't know what evenings would be like without Daddy. Haylee and he have the best snuggle, sleep relationship. When it's "that" time she needs her Daddy. :)

Geneva's 2nd graders make poetry books this year and they held a Books and Breakfast for the parents to come and have breakfast at school and read through the books they made. Grace did a very good job and when I find the time I will post her "If I could change the world" poem.....pretty darn funny the things she would do. ;)

Nicole and Brayden

Tracy and Maddie

Gavin sat like such a big boy and ate his cinnamon roll, he was LOVIN' all the attention.

The girls finished Awana for the year and had the end of the year race car derby and ribbon event. We still did not make cars but next year will defiantly think about that. We got to see our friends Ben and Brayden race theirs though and once again took home the trophy! Woo hoo (I had left already to get Gavin home so no pictures of that.)
The whole crew, Brayden, Ben, Grace, Haylee and Makenna:

And of course our little Muchacho

Haylee getting her ribbon:
This was her 1st book award as a Spark!

We're SO proud of these girls and are excited for a little break. Next year Grace will move up with the big kids to the TNT program.....wow!

Speaking of Grace........not sure what this one's about!

My Mother's Day card. :)
These were my "May Day" flowers that were left on my doorstep. Little Haylee is always creating surprises for us and the ringing door bell was such a hit that we have had things placed there every day since just about, lots of treasures. ;) LOL
Justin took the kids fishing on opening day, Gavin is at a really bad age for sitting on the dock. (sitting in general) So we took our time and did a little nature walk,
have to have sticks Mama

She is quite the fisherman:
Haylee is not so patient.
being very patient.....
"a fish, a fish".....it did pay off!
fascination......
then we throw it back........it floats by 2 min later and the worry begins......we killed the fish! Not sure that concept ever occurred to them when they actually doing the fishing.......this may have been their last time. lol (btw it swallowed the hook so there was nothing we could have done)
