Growing up........

Haylee is now an official bike rider. She has moved up a step from her trike and now has a big girl bike, and she is so cute on it. We found it on clearance and I thought she would be a little intimidated, but she gets right on and cruises around like a pro. :) It's fun to see them ride together with their little helmets on.......I am a little sad they are both getting older. :( Is this the point that we decide to have more??????? Hmmmm to be continued..............

* The other fun news that I need to report is Grace has TWO loose teeth. HOLY COW!!! This is all happening so fast.....ahhhhhhh She is very excited though and keeps telling me that the tooth fairy is NOT real, that we will just leave her a dollar and that's that! Well.......the tooth fairy will see how much attitude she gets between now and then. ;) What are some of your fun tooth fairy stories and ideas?

Mariah thought it would be fun to hide her 2nd tooth to see if the tooth fairy was real. it took the tooth fairy 6 days to finally get $ in her box. then, she saw the tooth in my bathroom garbage! i told her that she must have no longer needed it because it took her so long to find it. luckily, it was never brought up again.

Yay Haylee! That is great...soon you guys can go on family bike rides.

Good luck with the tooth fairy thing...it has brought us nothing but grief. We ALWAYS forget to put money in the little cup we have. Not to mention that we didn't do any research to find out what the going rate was for the tooth fairy. When Reilly lost her first tooth Tyler just put whatever change he had in his pocket into the cup. I think it was like 44 cents...big mistake. Reilly went to Kindergarten the next day only to find out that her friend had had a visit from the tooth fairy who left her $4 for one stinking tooth. Let's just say there were lots of tears and we had to do a lot of talking to convince Reilly that the tooth fairy didn't hate her!! We now leave about 75 cents to a dollar per tooth.

Hopefully Grace won't be like Tyler who as a kid found this to be a great way to make money and pulled 4 non-loose teeth out of his mouth one night because he needed some fast cash!! ;)

HOLY COW.....seriously Tyler?? Hopefully you won't be turning tricks for the kids college fund. ;) That's pretty extreme.....ouch! We'll see how it goes, I think around $1 is plenty and maybe a little more for molars or something. Thanks for the advice. ;)
Jami.....that's so funny that she hid the tooth, that is quite a challenge in the dark at night trying to be quiet....you're good. :)
