July 2018

We took the kids to the 4th of July parade in Liberty Lake, this is the first year we've done this parade after hearing how fun it is.  It didn't disappoint being such a little community, they decorate all their personal golf carts and drive through the streets throwing candy.  They also give away prizes and otter pops to stay cool, it was very fun.

We went home and got food ready to head back to liberty lake for the live music and fire works at the park.  It was pretty low key for us but we had a nice time hanging with just our kiddos.

Spokane Indians game Harry Potter night. ;)

Celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary at Wolf Lodge and a yummy steak dinner.  It was my first time there and it's such a quaint little place outside of Coeur d'alene.  The food was so good and the drive there is always beautiful!

This was the first summer that Justin's family was planning a reunion with just his siblings since our Hawaii trip.  Wendy and Ben were in charge and decided Boise would be easy and just do day trips.  We went early to visit my family for a few days and Grace and Sam flew in to see a concert together for her birthday.

My mom's backyard is amazing!!  The little play house is so cute and her flowers and trees make it so inviting.

Ready for their fun date night.

Wendy planned Roaring Springs the first day together which is a huge water park.  We had cabana's to lounge under when we got hot and the kids napped and ate food when they weren't swimming.  It was a lot of fun.

Day #2 we rented a pontoon boat and headed up to Lucky Peak Reservoir which is about 45 minutes from Boise.  We found a place to park and set up camp for the day and let the kids swim, play, tube and have fun in the sun!!  Bonnie and Grace ended up going back to the house because this wasn't their cup of tea but we had a good time anyway.

Day #3 we went with Paula and his family to the farmer's market.  Boise puts on a great one and we miss having one so much!!

Before we headed home we stopped to see my dad and pick up Grace's car.  She was so excited to get it home and get her license.

The next week we headed up to Priest Lake for a week of camping with friends.  This year we got a spot that is government land rented out for firefighters and stuff.  It was nice to have the big spot all to ourselves and be able to be as loud as we want without camp hosts getting after us. ;)

Lot's of room to target shoot with the pellet guns.

Lots of beach time.

And friend time.

July was full of fun!!!
