Sitting by a bonfire in the cold winter with our friends Brian ans Ashley we came up with an impulsive decision to book a trip to Mexico!! Best decision ever!!! We had such a blast and made some fantastic memories together.
He needed to get his nap in.....he knew what was coming next. ;)

It was fun to see the hotels all decorated for Christmas time. I have only been to Mexico in the Spring so this was fun. It's so green and lush this time of year there.

Justin and I have already done this one and decided not to snorkel this time. It was fun to watch them and take pictures.
We hiked up to a water fall and got to see the little towns and homes on the hillside. It's a completely different side of Mexico that you don't really see close to the hotels. The kids are so excited to see you and we had gum and candy that we passed out.
Lots of card playing and listening to music. We actually had a lot of rain in the evenings so it made it kind of fun to sit outside under cover and listen to it.
Little reminders of Christmas.....it's weird when its 90 degrees outside.
We had to make a trip to Walmart of course!!! ;)
Sadly this was our last night to celebrate and Justin was beginning to not feel well. We had a pirate ship adventure to go on and that's the worst place to be when Montezuma decides to get revenge. :(:(:(:(
While Justin was getting some extra sleep we had one more lounge around the pool and soaked in a little more sunshine. We knew within a few hours we were heading back to SNOW!!
We had the best time with great friends and we are still waiting for a return trip. Mexico will always be a favorite of mine. Justin and I have been 4 times together and it keeps getting better.
