Summer send off..........

Grace had her summer send off party for school last night and had a great time. It was a luau theme with treats and games and music all provided by Geneva school so the kids could just go crazy, the only night where they can have 3 popsicles and popcorn for dinner. ;) Haylee was keeping up with them all for the first time and I think it was our first time realizing that this will be "both" of them next year participating as students. (sniff sniff) Hard to believe.

And of course this little guy was grinning to the crowd and waving the whole time! :)


Thursday is the last day for this 1st grader and we are so proud of the year she has had and how far she has come. She brought home her journals from the year and it's neat to be able to read through them and see what a difference a year can make. She had a FABULOUS teacher this year as well and Grace is sad about having to be done in her class. :( I remember having those same feelings about some of my teachers.
So until next year........it's "goodbye" school,
